Job Responsibilities as a Production Engineer

As a production engineer, you will work on developing and optimizing production processes to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective manufacturing. You will be part of a team of about 20 production engineers with various areas of expertise and collaborate cross-functionally with operators, team leaders, maintenance, and operations staff. You will work with general production engineering issues with a special focus on upcoming automation projects.

Your responsibilities include, for example:

Measuring and analyzing cycle and takt times
Risk analyses for safety and production processes
Data collection and evaluation for production improvement
Process optimization and implementation of improvement efforts
Describing production flows through value stream analyses
Building and preparing workplaces in digital tools (2D/3D CAD)
Creating and visualizing digital twins of the production environment
Supporting production in daily technical challenges and change projects

In the role of Production Engineer, we are looking for someone who has:

Bachelor's degree in production engineering/automation
Experience (at least 1-2 years) in industry, manufacturing, or process production
Knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing
A strong interest in technology and understanding of production flows
Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have:

Previous experience in industrial automation
Work experience in production engineering, for example as an operator or similar
Knowledge of Power BI or similar analytical tools
